Each ICONIQ garment’s design specification requires high-grade Italian fabrics from MITI. Selected for moisture management, aerodynamics, compression, and next-to-skin quality. We evaluate weight, stretch, and hand feel by garment type, including the GSM appropriate to jerseys, bibs, and skinsuits, so the fabric performs in the areas that matter most on the bike.

The materials are chosen for multi-directional stretch, breathability, and moisture management, and for the ability to hold a locked-in profile through repeated wear and washing. The intent is straightforward: The fabric that reaches the rider should match the standard we set at the outset.

Apex Bibs and Velocity SkinSuite use Elastic Interface 4D chamois technology. The pad is built with multidirectional curvature and a smooth, eco-conscious surface, with 100% recycled ECO Carbonium Flash ultra-high-density inserts.

Surface perforations increase airflow through the pad. The construction is specified for extended comfort on efforts of seven to eight hours, with a stable interface intended to stay in place rather than shift during the ride.

Laser-cut cuffs and straps are formed from advanced fabrics and heat-treated to hold their shape. The finish is designed to reduce sleeve bunching, rolled edges, and chamois movement, so the garment remains secure without constant adjustment.

These details are light and breathable by design. They exist to keep the kit in position across long efforts, not to add bulk or restrict movement.

Quality is treated as a production requirement, not a marketing claim. Construction layups, laser-cut edges, waterproof inner valet pockets, and reflective details are specified and reviewed as part of the garment, then refined as the lineup improves.

Every proposed change is weighed against performance, durability, and the locked-in character of the kit. The objective is a finished product that looks precise, functions under load, and lasts beyond a single season.
